INTERNATIONAL BEST PRACTICE FOR WHEELING, AND THE REGULATORY FRAMEWORK IN SOUTH AFRICA WORKSHOP22 July 2021 - 14:00 – 17:00 (SA Time)
The South African Independant Power Producers Association (SAIPPA) would like to invite you to participate in the workshop of the project titled: "Review of international non-discriminatory grid access and bilateral trading models for improving the regulatory framework in South Africa."
The project was commissioned by GIZ/SAGEN to highlight options to improve and simplify wheeling in SA. This work has been executed and reported upon by a Canadian management consultancy, CPCS together with the SA office of Norton Rose Fulbright. SAIPPA has been invited to host this workshop for IPPs, traders and potential off-takers. This being the third workshop in the series, following workshops with Eskom and municipalities and a second workshop with Government institutions. The workshop has the objective of a presentation of the report, its findings and to make recommendations for next steps for wheeling reform.
